In Thailand

There was nobody really taking care of the blog during the Thailand. The internet cafe was "too far" away and there is lot's of excusies left:)

Better latter and never, right?

Our week's schedules were never surtain so I just continue from the Saturday that followed the prayer walk.

Every Saturday Anniina and Paul Rogers organized an International Home Church gatherings. The members were very coloful group of westerners who were living in the island. There were those who had been Christians couple of years with the amazing convertion stories and some yogis who were interested of Jesus. All together in the same house studing the Bible. For our team those gatherings were almost the best times in the weeks or at least something that we really looked forward to. After that Saturday's gathering we continued to the yoga center Ananda. I was at the front seat to hear waht yoga and meditation ment for one American man. His German almost-girlfriend, now they are a couple, was talking with some others and I heard some of their conversation and latter I heard more about it.They were able tell her that Jesus is the only way to Father and even if she had seen a dream about something it really seemed that God was calling her.

Anyway the gatherings at the Saturday were refreshing in a good way.

Every Sunday we took part of the local church services in Hope and in Victory church. The services were in Thai but God's Spirit was always stongly there. It was good for our team to see the services and how everybody kneels down before God to worship Him! In Victory church we also took part in the Sunday schools. First somebody read the story from the Bible and after that the the kids colored the picture related to the theme. One time Tirsa was asked to draw the picture that the kids could color it in and ever after that she has been drawing a lot:)

Aikamme Thaimaassa

Greetings from Cambodia

Hello everyone and Happy New Year from us all!

Our team arrived to Cambodia finally after 20 hours of travelling. We are thankful to God that everything went well even if we had to wait for the bus a couple of hours. While waiting for the bus we had great opportunities to share our lives and God with the other westeners on the bus station.
Now we have been in Phnom Phen for almost a week and there is still a lot to get just to in this poor country. We are staying at a nice Guest House in the center of the city and we are every morning using the tok toks to get to the orphanage we are working at.
The orpahanage has around 70 children, most of them found in the streets. They are very lovely and always happy to see us when we are come in the morning. We have been teaching them music, drama, english and we've been playing with them also. It is amazing to see how they so enthusiastically want to learn new things. Many of them are very talented. The love of Jesus is shining through them as they are welcoming us with open arms and calling us brothers and sisters.
I hope you want to join us by praying for the children and for protection for our team !
