On Sunday we arrived to Reykjavik. Island was covered with snow and we could not see any trees when we were landing. Only at the city we saw some of them. From the air the island looked deserted and very calm. One thought that came in mind was that: 'how somebody can live in so isolated place and in the place were the financies were not the only unpredictable thing but the volcanos and the tectonic plates were active too'.The calmness was just the illusion!
We are living almost at the center of the city at the Salvation Army's Hostel. There is only two houses between our house and the parlamet house. So we have had a great priviledge to hear the protest against the goverment. Last night we were sleeping with the earplugs on our ears:) Protesters left the
Front of the parlament house you can see people from different back ground and age and they all have the same messages. They want justice. You can here the drums and shouting all the time. the house was washed this morning but just to be clean for couple of hours. It has all the rainbow colors again on it. Let's see what will happen:)
