Challenging but edifying

On Friday we went to the most poor gipsy villages here. We still can't believe what we saw... A girl, dressed with a thin t-shirt and tights, another even without pants.. The kids were so dirty and the places looked like garbage dumps. And there we were, dressed with four sweaters and a winter jacket, with our boots and presents.. somehow it felt so ridiculous. They needed much more than t
hat.

But it's in those moment when you feel small, God gets all the glory. We couldn't have done anything without Him and His love. And we do believe that He will continue the work in the villages we have visited.

Saturday was our day off. At least from our ministry. We spent the day processing all what we had been doing during the week. On Sunday we took part in a church meeting, what was appreciated by the people there. We felt before that we should do something new, like create something, so we came up with a drama and afterwards we could just see how it totally was God's idea.

Yesterday and today we have been planning and preparing the following days. Kindergarden will start here tomorrow, so we will be helping the base people there. Sooo one more week and it's all about children :)
